![]() ![]() Is there really any excuse for incorrectly assigning an item to anyone if it's not by fault of a UI issue/error? ![]() Fact of the matter is we'll be using a modern client with a functional version of Master Looter and guilds aren't being forced to use group loot because of how broken it used to be during vanilla. My personal opinion is it works on Retail because loot is auto distributed for the most part, But this will not work in a Master looter or group roll situation. So basically the issue at hand is, How is it fair for players running raids or dungeons by joining a random group and only have 1 /roll chance while other players can abuse the system fairly easily and have multiple /roll chances for that same piece of gear simply by having their friends roll for it as well. What stops 3 friend from rolling on 1 piece of gear simply to give it to their friend if they win? Every time I pugged anything in Classic/BC I took on players and their friends to help fill slots. What this does in a system that you spend 4+ hours with the same people, Deals will be made, Loot will be sold for gold and Realistically, people in the raid could flat out auction off their BOP. What I mean is, Classic Pugs for raids or dungeons and even Guild runs will be subject to loot sharing with friends. We all understand why Blizzard did this(Less GM Tickets = Cheaper support costs) However, I am shocked that they would implement systems in a Non-LFR game and not evaluate the major loopholes this will create. I scrolled through a few posts but only saw comments regarding this. R/WarcraftLore for anything related to WoW lore including current and old.
